The tour starts at the top of the Royal Mile in the Lawnmarket
where Burns lived on his first visit to Edinburgh. Walk through the Old Town with your guide passing the sites
associated with the poet. Hear about the characters he was acquainted with and the taverns he frequented. Visit
the graves of Robert Ferguson and Clarinda before walking into the Grassmarket passing the Lodge Canongate Kilwinning, here
the tour ends outside the White Hart Inn.
This tour can be customised to suit your individual interests and
can take in areas outside of the Old Town. The duration of the tour can range from two hours to a full day.
We can also add visits to the Writers Museum and refreshment at the White Hart Inn.
