Leaving Edinburgh we will make our first stop of the day at the magnificent Stirling Castle, sitting high on a volcanic rock, offering wonderful views of the Wallace Monument and several battle sites. When visiting the Stirling Castle you will learn of the exploits of William Wallace, Robert the Bruce and Mary Queen of Scots.
After Lunch we will travel through the Tossachs know as the Highlands in minature.
Within the beauty of Scotland’s first national park you have the options include a scenic boat cruise on Loch Katrine*, or a relaxing walk or cycle along the pathway which follows the loch’s stunning northern shoreline. (*Loch cruise available April – October only. Hire bikes, electric bikes and golf buggies at the loch - subject to availability).
