Edinburgh Tour Guides is an Edinburgh based company.  We have local guides with local knowledge, who specialise in Edinburgh.  Our guides are fully insured, professional, motivated and experienced.  We have guides with special interests from Architecture to History and Robert Burns to Storytelling and most are members of the Edinburgh Tourist Guides Association.

From walking tours to coach and car tours, our guides would love to show you our beautiful city.  Guides can be hired from one hour to a full day.  We are also happy to help you plan your itinerary from admissions to coach hire and more. 

We are happy to supply guides for large groups or individuals. Our client base includes Ambassadors, Journalists, and Conference delegates, university student and schools groups.

A passionate Scot, an Engineer by training, who in recent years has returned to his lifelong love of the history of his native city and qualified as a guide for both Walking and Bus Tours.  Martin likes nothing better than the chance to share with visitors his knowledge of the Happenings in Edinburgh over the centuries, the sights of the old and new towns and the tales of the people who lived here.

As a person who enjoys lifelong learning, Hsien-lin has gained a deep knowledge of Edinburgh.  She has been an Edinburgh tour guide since 2002. Her enthusiastic passion for history, architecture, art, geology, and human landscape is the basis for the excellent reputation gained for her guiding service. Her wealth of Scottish tourism experience and warm personality will make your Edinburgh visit a memorable and relaxing one.
